In case you missed the news on the front page, Ascent has closed up shop, and thus we are no longer accepting applications.


Current Openings

Healer (Shaman, Priest, Paladin, or Druid)
Melee (Enhancement, Fury, Retribution)
Ranged (Elemental, Hunter, Shadow, Warlock)
Tank (Warrior, Paladin, or Druid)


Exceptionally capable players of any class are always welcome to apply.


Minimum Requirements

All candidates must must be

* Level 80
* Able to work as part of a cooperative raiding effort
* Able to attend from start to finish 75% of scheduled raids. Raids are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7-11 PM server (Central) time
* Able to listen and speak on Ventrilo
* Eager to participate regularly in the guild forums
* Willing to install and use mods that the Ascent officers feel improve raiding
* Driven to spec for optimal raid performance on every raid
* Driven to bring to raids and use as needed every available raiding consumable that can improve performance
* Driven to research boss fights in advance of raids


About Ascent

Our vision is to bring together the highest quality of players and progress through high-end raiding content in a fun, friendly, honorable, and mutually respectful manner. Ascent was formed on 2/27/2007 for 25-man raiding in The Burning Crusade, and we completed that raiding content by killing Kil'Jaeden on 10/20/2008. We have cleared all 25-man WotLK bosses and are working on Sartharion with 3 drakes.

Our raiding schedule is Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7-11 PM server (Central) time.

Ascent is not a roleplaying guild, although roleplaying by individual guild members is in no way discouraged.
